First off I'm not really here to bad mouth them or anything but seriously I'm pissed. Jc is a scam Or it might be I just had a bad experience.

I first heard their ad on the radio and thought it would be cool since its been my dream to become an actor my whole life. So i called and got an "audition" which is what they called it. They never mentioned any payment plan or anything to do with money at all, they just said to come in and to not wear jeans or gym shoes. So i went to this building and it looked as though they were renting it out for a week and then leaving. The walls were almost bare except for a couple of posters that looked like they got them from walmart. Then they handed us a brochure which had inside a bunch of prices for classes. I was like wtf is this I didn't even expect anything like that. So this guy comes in and talks then calls you back to an office according to the order you arrived in. My name was called, I went back there and a girl was sitting behind a desk, she asked me questions about why I wanted to do it and if my parents supported me. Then she said they would only accept 14 kids to come back for a second audition. They called me to another room to say a quick sentence for a pepsi commercial, and I was filmed with a handheld digital camera. After that i left, after they told me to call back two days from then to see if I had got the audition. So i call two day from then and they say "congratulations you've got it." So I come in on tuesday, at 8:30, my dad has work the next day but he figures its ok.

So i go in with the lady she asks me to read my line again and I do. She says read it angry, read it sad.

I do. Then she asks me to walk like I'm on the runway. I was like excuse me, I don't really want to be a model. But she still said to do it, so i said fine I'll do it, and I did but without excitement or enthusiasm. Then she brings me back to her office and hands me a book with all these prices in it for classes. First off when I got there a class was apparently in session, if you could call it a class. all it seemed to be was a bunch of 9 to 12 year olds running around playing tag and being rambunctious, I'm 16 and at that time I wasn't into that immature thing anymore so already I was turned off.

Back to after my 2nd audition.

I'm in the office, and my mother asks why are all the kids playing around when its supposed to be an acting school. The ***...sorry "lady" replies.

"Well thats what actings about having fun." real cocky like.

Then she says "well heres the thing, we're closing the division for your age group tonight so we need to register you tonight, or it's gonna be a no."

Well sorry lady but a day can't be enough time to decide whether we want to spend 2 grand on a program that we don't even know is legit.

so she walked out of the room and told us to come up with a decision on which plan we wanted.

When she came back, my mother told her.

"you know what we're going to have to take more time to decide it." very politely.

and apparently it was the wrong thing to say to this ***...sorry "lady".

The lady changed from sweet to horrid in a matter of two seconds. She goes. "well this is why I told you on the phone to talk before you came here."

Then my mom says "well it's not a long time to talk about something that costs this much."

So the *** goes "well you can't take more time we close in 15 minutes and we cant do anything after today."

my mom says "we need more time, we have to talk about it."

And the lady gets up, with a disgruntled look, and says. "well its gonna be a no. I wish you would of said something before you waisted our time."

Waisted her time. 1 there was nobody there. 2, we paid the money for gas and the toll to drive an hour away for this scam bullshit. And 3, we only had a day to think about paying 2 thousand dollars.

I don't know about you guys but we aren't exactly the Rockefellers here.

So we left with a bad taste in our mouths, never to come back to that place, which will probably be gone in a month along with everybody's checks.

But you know what I'm glad we did what we did. We saw that company's true colors shine in our faces.

They are cons and we should of known better.

They promised a director would be there but all I saw was the ***...sorry "lady", her assistant, and a bunch of brats running around.

If you go to this place you truly are getting screwed and I feel so sorry for you.

Thanks for reading this long *** complaint, but like the website says "I'm Pissed."

Happy agency hunting!!!

John Casablancas has helped my child with jobs and training. Of course it cost money. Everything does. People have to understand that you are not paying them to be your agent. John Casablancas Centers teach and get them auditions. We had a great time with them.

I got a call from them and didn't even know who they even were. I'm not even sure how they go my number. I was first excited, then thought what a bunch of bull. I had no idea it was a school in tell i looked up the website. I am already in college, if you were smart you would just go to college too. You can learn the same stuff. I am in theatre at school and I always have the number one roles. Best part about it I am getting a education well I can go to acting classes. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

JC is a begining point, they have payment plans for Modeling and Acting School. Because no one is a Actor until you have exp. and training. If your parents are involved they need to support you. All the people who complain on this site must be ugly and retarded. Wah wah wah cry a *** river you dumb ***.

I'm 16 and i got a slip in the mail about john cassablancas modeling audition so i was like omg so excited so my mom took me to my first audition last night and it seemed really nice and convincing. buuut after reading this i really don't know anymore it kinda seems like they just want to suck the money right out of our pockets , they gave us all a call bak time and they said if they called this morning then they didn't want me but if they don't call then we come at 7 for a 2nd audition. if they don't call then im goin to prolly not come anyway i want to live my dream and i know it takes alot of time and money but if i have no garante that i'm goin anywhere in a career then why waist time & $ .

emails welcome-

Hello, I know everyone has their different stories and experiences, but JC is a great place. I am 13 right now, and have been going to JC since I was 11. Its a great place, and I can truly tell you right now, its almost like a second family to me.

I dont think All of JC companies should get the bad credit for one little bad moment.
